Yes. Johnny Got His Gun. THE MOVIE. Starring Benjamin Mckenzie (Ryan Atwood in The OC) as the lead, Joe Bonham. I'm reading the book now, I'm like halfway through and so far, it just depicts how cruel war is and how it can destroy lives. This book I swear, is the epitomy of an anti-war novel. Highly recommended so that you see the other side of war. The one where it's ab out individual suffering. It's so painful and gruesome, but it's brutally honest.
Johnny, get your gun, get your gun, get your gun Take it on the run, on the run, on the run Hear them calling you and me Every Son of Liberty Hurry right away, no delay, go today Make your Daddy glad to have had such a lad Tell your sweetheart not to pine, To be proud her boy's in line
Johnny, get your gun, get your gun, get your gun Johnny, show the "Hun"you're a son-of-a-gun Hoist the flag and let her fly Yankee Doodle do or die Pack your little kit, show your grit, do your bit Yankee to the ranks from the towns and the tanks Make your Mother proud of you And the old red-white-and-blue
Over there, over there, Send the word, send the word over there That the Yanks are coming, the Yanks are coming The drum's rum-tumming everywhere So prepare, say a prayer, Send the word, send the word to beware We'll be over, we're coming over And we won't come back till it's over, over there

Fight Quest ; 10:02 PM
Fight Quest's TOMORROW. YEAH (:
My mum's talking about her old clothes coming back into fashion and she said she still has them and she's gonna give 'em to me! HAH. (:
Anyway, in case you're wondering, Daughtry rocked it out BIG last night! It was fan-fucking-tastic! Too bad I didn't really have a good camera. Next time, I'm bringing my dad to help with the pictures. Given his height and his camera, it should be GREAT. But you know what? The local bands rocked it too! EIC was great! Loved their song Fiona as well as their covers. I had a blast screaming Elevation! (:
YEAH to more concerts! HELL YEAH

You And I Both ; 3:15 PM
Jason Mraz Live. AMAZING. His voice is as good as it gets.
it's utterly amazing how he can sing so fast and yet don't jumble up his lyrics. Very much his forte I guess.
It's making me wanna go to singfest badly!
I've been singing You and I Both in school ever since Cheryl requested it and yesterday, I sang it while queue-ing up to buy chicken rice in the canteen and two juniors in front of me turned back to see who was singing. HAH. And then weifang said "Wah, you sing not bad leh!" YAY. (: I think that song is like my new favourite song to sing from now on. My previous one was Superman by five for fighting. (:
The Traffic Road Jam party to tomorrow! Daughtry BABEH. I heard he's gonna sing 3 new songs! Can't wait. I hope they have a meet and greet thing going on! I wanna shake his hand and get his autograph, along with the whole band of course! Woots, can't wait! (:
Was it you who spoke the words that things would happen but not to me? Oh things are gonna happen naturally Oh and taking your advice and I'm looking on the bright side And balancing the whole thing
Oh but at often times those words get tangled up in lines And the bright light turns to night Oh until the dawn it brings Another day to sing about the magic that was you and me
Cause you and I both loved What you and I spoke of And others just read of Others only read up of the love Oh the love that I love
See I'm all about them words Over numbers, unencumbered numbered words Hundreds of pages, pages, pages, for words More words then I had ever heard and I feel so alive
Cause you and I both loved What you and I spoke of And others just read of And if you could see me now Oh love, love, you and I, you and I, Not so little you and I anymore
And with this silence Brings a moral story More importantly evolving Is the glory of a boy
Cause you and I both loved What you and I spoke of And others just read of And if you could see now Well then I'm almost finally out of, finally, out of, finally, well I'm almost finally, finally, well I am free, Oh I'm free
And it's okay if you had go away Oh just remember the telephones well they workin' in both ways But if I never, ever hear them ring If nothing else I'll think the bells inside Have finally found you someone else and that's okay Cause I'll remember everything you sang
Cuz you and I both loved What you and I spoke of And others just read of And if you could see me now Well then I'm almost finally out of, finally out of Finally de dedededede, well I'm almost finally out of words

All The Things That I've Done ; 7:56 PM
Oh God, forgive me for I have sinned.
I ate: -one and a half s'mores (homemade, by ME) -three mouthfuls of volcano brownie ice cream -5 tiger biscuits
And yet I: -haven't exercised in over a month, close to two -actually lost weight (the last time I weighed in)
Gotta start going jogging and swimming (cardio to strengthen the heart and improve stamina) and do weight trainings (to get rid of the flabs and to get nice biceps). Plus sit-ups for that nice flat tummy. I seriously do not aim for packs cause that's too wicked for girls to have!
I am waiting for friday to come because I wanna explore forever 21 and pull and bear to search for nice hats and accessories etc. (:
Anyways, just watched a bit of Don't Forget The Lyrics and I so wanna join! It'll be so fun and even if I win like $10, 000, I'd be effing happy! And c'mon! I knew that American Pie lyrics that the guy needed for the $200, 000 song! I WANNA JOIN!
When there's nowhere else to run Is there room for one more son One more son If you can hold on If you can hold on, hold on
I wanna stand up, I wanna let go You know, you know - no you don't, you don't I wanna shine on in the hearts of men I want a meaning from the back of my broken hand
Another head aches, another heart breaks I am so much older than I can take And my affection, well it comes and goes I need direction to perfection, no no no no
Help me out Yeah, you know you got to help me out Yeah, oh don't you put me on the blackburner You know you got to help me out
And when there's nowhere else to run Is there room for one more son These changes ain't changing me The cold-hearted boy girl I used to be
Yeah, you know you got to help me out Yeah, oh don't you put me on the blackburner You know you got to help me out You're gonna bring yourself down Yeah, you're gonna bring yourself down Yeah, you're gonna bring yourself down
I got soul, but I'm not a soldier I got soul, but I'm not a soldier... Yeah, you know you got to help me out Yeah, oh don't you put me on the blackburner You know you got to help me out You're gonna bring yourself down You're gonna bring yourself down Yeah, oh don't you put me on the blackburner Yeah, you're gonna bring yourself down
Over and out, last call for sin While everyone's lost, the battle is won With all these things that I've done All these things that I've done If you can hold on If you can hold on

no song today! ; 6:31 PM
Today's entry is pretty indulgent so if you don't wanna hear anymore about me swooning, don't read it. Don't say I didn't warn you!
10 things I love about you:
1) Your smile. I love that usually, you look quite tough and all but once you break into a smile, GAWD, you look soooo sincere and you just melt my heart! Plus your teeth are sooooo perfect! (:
2) Your treshold of pain. It's so cool that you're able to smile after taking such a crazy beating! Plus you don't complain and you never back down!
3) You're so humble and respectful to the people you meet and so willing to learn from anyone who's willing to teach you something!
4) You've seen the other side of the spectrum and you know what suffering looks like and so you're so grateful for the simple things in life like hot water or having a full stomach. You know what's important in life, in other words.
5) Your eyes! Your greeeeeen eyes. Which I can get lost in! Blue eyes are so over-rated!
6) Your hair style! It was what I wanted to do to my fringe! LOL. And you did it to your's! It's so sad you're balding. Or at least your hair is really thin. But I'll still love you! (:
7) You love music. That's VERY important to me! The Clash are pretty okay! HAH. One of their songs made me smile today! (:
8) Your tattoo! Your huge-ass tattoo spawned across your chest! It has my favourite affliction-wings too! LOL. And what the tattoo says, "thicker than water", which clearly refers to blood, it really is isn't it? Especially since you've seen enough bloodshed in your lifetime!
9) You volunteer in your free time and give back to society! Which is so sweet! (:
10) You're quite an artistic person, drawing, tattooing, painting. That's just so appealing!
Today when the lecture theatre was freezing and I was doing my work and copying down notes, part of me was wishing you were sitting next to me, holding my hand and keeping me warm.

Young Folks ; 9:36 PM
I was seriously bored! LOL. And I did not deliberately put doug in at number 4 okay! (you'll get it when you read q10!). It was fate! (:
Instructions: Name 20 people whom you can think of right now.Don't read the questions till you've named 20 people. At the end of this, choose 5 people to do this. (I'm not gonna choose. Do it if you want to!)
Q1: How did you meet 14? Xiao tian tian? She's my classmate. And we go home together!
Q2: What would you do if you've never met 1? I would probably have turned out really differently and I'll be reeeeeallllly sad cuz I'd have no one to go to borders with!
Q3: What if 9 and 20 dated? of course not. one's my brother, the other's my classmate! Brandon's taken anyways.
Q4: Will 16 and 17 date? of course NOT. NO WAY. They both have boyfriends!
Q5: Describe 7? She likes to sing and sometimes (well, most of the time, who are we kidding here?) she doesn't sound that good.
Q6: What would you do if 18 confess to you that he/she likes you? Erm, I'll send her all my Michael Jackson songs! LOL
Q7: Who is 9 going out with? 10.
Q8: When was the last time you talk to 13? one, two weeks ago? I saw here in the canteen and said hi!

Q10: Would you ever date 4? I'D MARRY HIM! (:
Q11: Would you ever date 1? If we both turn lesbian then maybe yes but I don't see that coming in the near future! But we're happy being the crazy bitches we both are!
Q12: Is 19 single? nopes, 19's dating 17!
Q13: Would you ever be in relationship with 11? LOL. She's my gossip mate! NO! I'd go to her house to eat all the Indian food in the world but I won't date her!
Q14: School of 3? TPJC.
Q15: Where does 6 live? Eunos? SHIT. I have no idea. I know she drops at eunos mrt station!
Q16: What is your favourite thing of 5? she listens to me rant all day in school and she really pushed pulled me during my last round of the 2.4 run
Q17: Have you ever seen 10 naked? obviously not. But I've seen 9 naked before! KEKEKEKE. (:
Anyways, went to borders yesterday to meet Sharon. She wanted to get Prep amongside many other books and ended up getting a gold-colour-covered book! Then we walked to Kino to buy Brandon his "Three Little Wolves and the Big Bad Pig" book which, by the way, I took really long finding! And I got Johnny Got His Gun by Dalton Trumbo! I asked Sharon to read the back and tell me whether to get it or not and she read the war discription and she said "sounds like you. get it"! HAH. So I did. (: I also got Konk by The Kooks from CD Rama early in the afternoon after school! YAY. It's pretty good! Thanks Sharon for the trip yesterday and for Hellboy on Wednesday! (:
if i told you things i did before told you how i used to be would you go along with someone like me? if you knew my story word for word had all of my history would you go along with someone like me
i did before and had my share it didn't lead nowhere i would go along with someone like you it doesn't matter what you did who you were hanging with we could stick around and see this night through

The Story ; 7:42 PM
Thank you for giving me everything that I've got this time round. I know you know I worked hard so gyea. I know the drill, you'll help me if I help myself. And I will continue to help myself cause I REALLY REALLY want this, I WANT TO GET FREAGIN' STRAIGHT As FOR MY EXAMS. So please, help me to be strong and hardworking and mentally fit for the information overload.
Hellboy 2 was good! And best of all, it was only $6 cuz Cathay has this weekday student promo. YAY. (: Plus I FINALLY got The Kooks' first album! Gramaphone was elling it at $16.95 so I grabbed it. Too bad they ran out of the 2cd special Konk if not, I would have gotten their new cd too!
Anyways, new book that I want to read: Johnny Got His Guns by Dalton Trumbo. I hope it won't be as chim as The Great Gatsby cause I could not make any sense of that book. I'm onto Dedication now. Say a hundred and fifty pages into it? Jake is such a royal asshole. And somehow somehow, Laura and Kate reminds me of Sharon and I. As in the kinds of stupid things we do (like discuss crushes and planning crazy should things that may probably never ever happen to us!).
Tomorrow marks the end of the school week, which marks the beginning of Sex and the City mini marathon. It's something I try to do every friday cuz I really need to catch up and Sharon keep talking about this dry spell thing. ARGH.
All of these lines across my face Tell you the story of who I am So many stories of where I've been And how I got to where I am But these stories don't mean anything When you've got no one to tell them to It's true...I was made for you
I climbed across the mountain tops Swam all across the ocean blue I crossed all the lines and I broke all the rules But baby I broke them all for you Because even when I was flat broke You made me feel like a million bucks You do...I was made for you
You see the smile that's on my mouth It's hiding the words that don't come out And all of my friends who think that I'm blessed They don't know my head is a mess No, they don't know who I really am And they don't know what I've been through like you do And I was made for you...

Love Song For No One ; 10:06 PM
Staying home alone on a friday Flat on the floor looking back On old love Or lack thereof After all the crushes are faded And all my wishful thinking was wrong I'm jaded I hate it
I'm tired of being alone So hurry up and get here So tired of being alone So hurry up and get here
Searching all my days just to find you I'm not sure who I'm looking for I'll know it When I see you Until then, I'll hide in my bedroom Staying up all night just to write A love song for no one
I'm tired of being alone So hurry up and get here So tired of being alone So hurry up and get here
I could have met you in a sandbox I could have passed you on the sidewalk Could I have missed my chance And watched you walk away?
I could have met you in a sandbox I could have passed you on the sidewalk Could I have missed my chance And watched you walk away?
I'm tired of being alone So hurry up and get here So tired of being alone So hurry up and get here You'll be so good You'll be so good for me

Let It Be ; 5:59 PM
It hurts so much to want something so bad but you just can't have it. And it's not like I didn't work hard enough or I gave up cause if that were the case, I can beat myself up for it. But it's because I cannot do it. My body doesn't have the capacity to do it and it sucks so much cause I want to push myself but I just can't. And I feel crappy.
Today has been seriously crappy as you can tell. First GP results sucked like shit. And I know I passed and I shouldn't be complaining when there's people failing but that isn't my standard and I know I'm capable of so much more. I'm not bragging but my results this time is 10 marks below what I usually get so I feel very crappy, thank you. And then it was PE. Jesus, I just can't bear to talk about it.
And I chanced upon a song that helped me through today and I've listened to it 3 times today so I hope you guys like it too. (:
When I find myself in times of trouble Mother Mary comes to me Speaking words of wisdom, let it be. And in my hour of darkness She is standing right in front of me Speaking words of wisdom, let it be. Let it be, let it be. Whisper words of wisdom, let it be.
And when the broken hearted people Living in the world agree, There will be an answer, let it be. For though they may be parted there is Still a chance that they will see There will be an answer, let it be. Let it be, let it be. Yeah There will be an answer, let it be.
And when the night is cloudy, There is still a light that shines on me, Shine on until tomorrow, let it be. I wake up to the sound of music Mother Mary comes to me Speaking words of wisdom, let it be. Let it be, let it be. There will be an answer, let it be. Let it be, let it be, Whisper words of wisdom, let it be

Other Side Of The World ; 6:17 PM
Dinner with dad and brando on friday night was fun cause we get to eat nice restaurant food as compared to lunch's KFC. Not that KFC is bad cuz it's probably my favourite fast food joint. But anyways, we went to Milenia Walk for Outback then we popped by sembawang and they didn't have the Kooks either. Goodyness! So nope, in case you're wondering, I still haven't gotten my hands on the Kooks' albums yet. But I WILL. Mark my words! So we went to Harris and suddenly, brandon pops in front of me and he tells me that the sequel to the seven ancient wonders is out and of course, I bought it! It's called the six sacred stones. Read the intro alone and I want to read it so bad but I'm keeping it for later after I get through the three books I'm in the middle of. Which are According to the Rolling Stones, The Great Gatsby and Dedication. So gyea. Saving the best for last! (:
I have spent a ridiculous amount of time on the computer (laptop, same old same old) watching Across The Universe. Jim can really sing. And the entire cast is really good vocally. It was a bit weird to see Evan Rachael Wood so clean cut though. She's not really that clean cut but it is squeeky clean compared to the whole marilyn manson shinannigan! And there was this scene with her and jim naked, making out in the water. Totally didn't need to see that. But Bono made a cameo and sang a song so I was a happy kid! Plus I think the best song in the whole movie was Hey Jude, that was sung by Joe Anderson. (that last name! I know, but they two have no connections. Sadly) It was a good sappy song and his vocals were great in it! And kudos to Saddie cuz she rocked it out!
And I have just watched an episode of Fight Quest plus some scenes here and there. And I figured I should stop watching people get beaten up. Especially since, you know. Yeah and there was this scene of Doug, who didn't shave for a while probably cuz shaving is the last thing on your mind after brutal trainings, and so he was scruffy and his hair was messed up and from this certain angle, I was like COOK. Ohmygawd. NOOOOOOOOOO. It was freaky for me. =X
It's back to school tomorrow and we're having PE tomorrow. Which sucks cuz it's either height and weight, or games (which won't suck that much) or the most dreadful, fitness and conditioning (since I fucking failed my bloody 2.4 run. GAHHHH). I hope I don't collapse in the middle of my runs cause that would be nasty. And hopefully the others won't be running that fast so I won't be so demoralised. Ahh, all I can do is to hope for the best. Plus crazy-ass timetable with double period revisions start from tomorrow and I have no early days anymore. And we'll probably start getting back our papers from tomorrow so I don't know. It's gonna be stressful and there's definitely more of that from where it's gonna come from. SHYTE.
Save me fom this misery.
Over the sea and far away She's waiting like an iceberg Waiting to change But she's cold inside She wants to be like the water
All the muscles tighten in her face Buries her soul in one embrace They're one and the same Just like water
And the fire fades away Most of everyday Is full of tired excuses But it's too hard to say I wish it were simple But we give up easily You're close enough to see that You're on the other side of the world to me
On comes the panic light Holding on with fingers and feelings alike But the time has come To move along
And the fire fades away Most of everyday Is full of tired excuses But it's too hard to say I wish it were simple But we give up easily You're close enough to see that You're on the other side of the world
Can you help me Can you let me go And can you still love me When you can't see me anymore
And the fire fades away Most of everyday Is full of tired excuses But it's too hard to say I wish it were simple But we give up easily You're close enough to see that You're on the other side of the world On the other side of the world You're on the other side of the world to me

Bright Lights ; 2:50 PM
I'm turning old school again. First it was headbanging to Nirvana in the bus on tuesday then watching the Eagles yesterday and now I'm listening to The Clash and Jeff Buckley. Gooodyness. I'm turning into an old woman.
Anyways, I just realised that the crossroads demon in Supernatural was Jared's gal! Or should I say ex-gal. Wow. She's quite hot you know so I totally didn't expect her to be his gal. And I saw this vid on youtube about her telling people how Jared proposed to her. It was hilarious. She said:
"He stood me up (as in asking her to stand up) and I thought he wanted a hug and then he got down on his knees....but you know, he was still my height..."
That was super funny cuz yes, Jared is reaaaaaaally tall and she's average.
Oh wells, gotta head down to fix my soon-to-explode phone. I swear that's what everyone says when I tell them my battery is going cookoo. So yes, I'm gonna make a trip down to eastpoint to see what's wrong with it. And while I'm there, I'm gonna check out the Kooks at popular. Didn't get their cd yesterday cause sembawabg only had the first one. So I got Jakob Dylan's Seeing Things and KT Tunstall's Acoustic Extravaganza. And yes, as you can tell, the CD spree has started again after months of hiatus. (: And since I started off badly with Lenny Kravitz' cd (damn you Jon, you idiot. I shouldn't have read your review!), I'm gonna have to make up for it.
She got out of town On a railway new york bound Took all except my name Another alien on broadway
There's some things in this world You just can't change Some things you can't see Until it gets too late
Baby, baby, baby When all your love is gone Who will save me From all I'm up against out in this world Maybe, maybe, maybe You'll find something That's enough to please you But if the bright lights don't receive you You can turn yourself around And come on home
I got a hole in me now I got a scar I can talk about She keeps a picture of me In her apartment in the city
Some things in this world They don't make sense Some things you don't need Until they leave you And they're things that you miss
Baby, baby, baby When all your love is gone Who will save me From all I'm up against out in this world Maybe, maybe, maybe You'll find something That's enough to please you But if the bright lights don't receive you You can turn yourself around And come on home
Let that city take you in Let that city spit you out Let that city take you down For god's sake turn around
Never Back Down ; 12:33 AM
First up, can I just say OUCH. Just watch to see why.
I can feel Doug's pain man. I mean, did you see how badly bruisesd his stomach was. OUCH. And yes, his bod is soooo hot. Did you check out his back? The muscles there! OMG. (: Oh, and I was reading Doug's myspace and it says "smoke/drink: no/yes". And I'm like YESSSSSSS. Finally someone who doesn't smoke! Sharon knows how devastated I am about James Morrison smoking cuz I really like his voice!
Speaking of which, miss sharon chan has absolutely gone bananas over Jim from 21. Yup, we're on a first name basis here. She is like one crazy deprived groupie I tell ya. But yes, he's very cute. AND tall. But darling, I'm not snatching him from you. I've got my own Jared Padalecki. (:
Total cutie right? I discovered him while watching the making of House of Wax and of course when I found out he was in Supernatural, I wanted to watch the show so badly. Thank God the show is good and Jensen Ackles isn't too bad to look at either! Double treat! (:
This pic looks like one of those yearbook pics. LOL. Probably from his younger days when his eyebrows and eyes weren't so scrunged up. Anyways, Jared is like 6"4 (1.93 friggin' metres) tall and he has green-blue eyes even though they're so small you can't see them and they look brown!
Look at his biceps man. Woah. He looks so tall and lanky next to Jensen Ackles in Supernatural and I kinda didn't believe he could throw a real punch until I saw his arms.
REALLY nice bod! But no, you don't get to see him like that in Supernatural. Most of the time he's in a tee and wearing a button shirt over the tee. He looks good that way too. Trust me! (: And you know, back in 2005, people mag named Jensen and him 'Sexiest Ghostbusters'! LOL.
And by now you're probably wondering why is he always so intensely looking into the camera trying to ooze sexy so here's a nice smile for you. =D
This one's my favourite cause he looks so happy. His smile is just soooooo melt-your-heart! I think he looks a tad like Jim in this pic. Must be the hair colour! Oooh. And his favourite ice cream flavour is Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough (definitely B&Js man!) He's lactose intolerant but he says it's worth the stomach ache! SOOOOOOO CUTE. And guess what his favourite book is! The Great Gatsby! LOL. And he recently broke it off with his long-time girlfriend, which is sad but it's good cause now, he's single! (: And get this, this is what he said:
"Just be yourself and the right guy will come along, whether it be today, tomorrow, or next year. It'll happen!"
Yes babeh. So I've sent up Jared to take on Jim. And Sharon can have Jim cuz I'm having Jared. XD (And yes, I'm over Cook)
Something I made up in my head to replace the lyrics section for today:
Sometimes you gotta let go to move on Sometimes you gotta face your fears and be strong You've gotta give it all you've got And never back down

Learn To Be Still ; 1:45 AM
My latest earworm: Learn to Be Still by the Eagles
Yes, the good ol' classic daddy-song which I've probably heard a million times before. But that's what make it so good. (:
Oh, you know, I love reading cd booklets. I always hope that there's lyrics in them. Or even better, the band/singer commenting on how the song was written or something about the song. So I really appreciated the Eagles' best of album. The booklet was like an interview and them commenting on what inspired the song and all. Really nice touch. And I just watched 2 webisodes of James Morrison. Pretty nice cuz he kinda explains how he came up with the song. Sharon doesn't like him but I love his voice and of course, his Hummingbird! (Boy, if you don't know what I'm referring to, it actually sounds wrong!)
Anyway, I finally got Woody out today in an attempt to strum put he's still out of tune and my skills still suck so I gave up and I used my best instrument, my voice! Laaaaaaa~ But seriously, I guess your voice is the most convenient instrument isn't it? You can just sing any time you want to and there's no need to "lug" it around!
Right. Meeting Sharon tmr for 21. And I'm hoping to buy The Kooks' cds. Thinking bout Jakob Dylan too. If you're wondering why his surname sounds so familiar, he's Bob Dylan's son. He's solo album's very acoustic, which is the kinda sound I'm into nowadays. Don't get me wrong, I haven't given up my Queen and ACDC, I'm just a bit more subtle these days.
And speaking about going solo, it's sad to hear that Marty Casey hs left the Lovehammers to join this othe band called the LA Guns. I don't know bout this new move but I do sincerely hope they sound good. But Lovehammers or not, I'm still gonna write to Marty at the end of the year to beg him to come and perform here. Plus I saw this youtube vid with the Lovehammers and Matt Hoffer. Matt's the guy who had too early an exit from Rockstar Supernova.
Right on, it's getting late and I need very badly to catch up on sleep. So I'll leave you with this one.
It's just another day in paradise As you stumble to your bed You'd give anything to silence Those voices ringing in your head You thought you could find happiness Just over that green hill You thought you would be satisfied But you never will Learn to be still
We are like sheep without a shepherd We don't know how to be alone So we wander 'round this desert And wind up following the wrong gods home But the flock cries out for another And they keep answering that bell And one more starry-eyed messiah Meets a violent farewell Learn to be still Learn to be still
Now the flowers in your garden They don't smell so sweet Maybe you've forgotten The heaven lying at your feet
There are so many contridictions In all these messages we send (We keep asking) How do I get out of here Where do I fit in? Though the world is torn and shaken Even if your heart is breakin' It's waiting for you to awaken And someday you will Learn to be still Learn to be still
You just keep on runnin' Keep on runnin'
