Bright Lights ; 2:50 PM

I'm turning old school again. First it was headbanging to Nirvana in the bus on tuesday then watching the Eagles yesterday and now I'm listening to The Clash and Jeff Buckley. Gooodyness. I'm turning into an old woman.

Anyways, I just realised that the crossroads demon in Supernatural was Jared's gal! Or should I say ex-gal. Wow. She's quite hot you know so I totally didn't expect her to be his gal. And I saw this vid on youtube about
her telling people how Jared proposed to her. It was hilarious. She said:

"He stood me up (as in asking her to stand up) and I thought he wanted a hug and then he got down on his knees....but you know, he was still my height..."

That was super funny cuz yes, Jared is reaaaaaaally tall and she's average.

Oh wells, gotta head down to fix my soon-to-explode phone. I swear that's what everyone says when I tell them my battery is going cookoo. So yes, I'm gonna make a trip down to eastpoint to see what's wrong with it. And while I'm there, I'm gonna check out the Kooks at popular. Didn't get their cd yesterday cause sembawabg only had the first one. So I got Jakob Dylan's Seeing Things and KT Tunstall's Acoustic Extravaganza. And yes, as you can tell, the CD spree has started again after months of hiatus. (: And since I started off badly with Lenny Kravitz' cd (damn you Jon, you idiot. I shouldn't have read your review!), I'm gonna have to make up for it.

She got out of town

Took all except my name

There's some things in this world
You just can't change
Some things you can't see
Until it gets too late

Baby, baby, baby
When all your love is gone
Who will save me
From all I'm up against out in this world
Maybe, maybe, maybe
You'll find something
That's enough to please you
But if the bright lights don't receive you
You can turn yourself around
And come on home

I got a hole in me now
I got a scar I can talk about
She keeps a picture of me
In her apartment in the city

Some things in this world
They don't make sense
Some things you don't need
Until they leave you
And they're things that you miss

Baby, baby, baby
When all your love is gone
Who will save me
From all I'm up against out in this world
Maybe, maybe, maybe
You'll find something
That's enough to please you
But if the bright lights don't receive you
You can turn yourself around
And come on home

Let that city take you in
Let that city spit you out
Let that city take you down
For god's sake turn around
