When I Look To The Sky ; 10:28 PM

Goodness, the laptop is really screwing round with me. First Yahoo won't load, YES, I USE YAHOO, I DONT LIKE GOOGLE, then the internet hangs, and itunes simply doesn't agree with my hard disc so I can't play my songs now.

The only thing that cheered me up today was music. Lots and lots of it. I had a good moment with Rob Thomas and Streetcorner Symphony this morning on the train, speaking of which, the band, Train, gave me good songs on the way back. They managed to make me smile then make me almost tear. I think Pat Monohan must have lost someone very dear to him because the lyrics of When I Look to the Sky and Always Remember are so heart-wrenching. The best part, I walked into Pasta Mania for lunch today, and guess who was playing? JEFF BUCKLEY. Hallelujah.

Anyways, I was pretty much in the mood for a good walk by the end of work so I walked home from the MRT station as per usual. It's practically my only form of exercise, besides the walk to and from Tanjong Pajar and the office. And Train was on and I was like whoa and I swinged my arms a bit too much and I scratched the Cactus that belonged to the nursery. It wasn't that painful but what really hurt was that it scratched my bag. I was like WTH! MY BAGGGGGGG really loudly. LUCKILY NO ONE WAS AROUND ME. (Maybe that means I can get a new bag!) Can't say the same about work today though. I bent down to pick up the damn liquid paper cover which rolled on the floor and when I came back up, I hit my head against the edge of the table. I cussed, LOL, and I think my boss and some collegues heard me. I think they think I'm quite a goody goody person so they were kinda stunned. Like really? Do I give of a goody-goody vibe? SERIOUSLY. And I'm still having a headache from it, almost 6 hours later. Pathetic huh?

When it rains it pours and opens doors
And floods the floors we thought would always keep us safe and dry
And in the midst of sailing ships we sink our lips into the ones we love
That have to say goodbye

And as I float along this ocean
I can feel you like a notion that won't seem to let me go

Cause when I look to the sky something tells me you're here with me
And you make everything alright
And when I feel like I'm lost something tells me you're here with me
And I can always find my way when you are here

And every word I didn't say that caught up in some busy day
And every dance on the kitchen floor we didn't have before
And every sunset that we'll miss I'll wrap them all up in a kiss
And pick you up in all of this when I sail away

And as I float along this ocean
I can feel you like a notion that I hope will never leave

Cause when I look to the sky something tells me you're here with me
And you make everything alright
And when I feel like I'm lost something tells me you're here with me
And I can always find my way when you are here

Whether I am up or down or in or out or just plane overhead
Instead it just feels like it is impossible to fly
But with you I can spread my wings
To see me over everything that life may send me
When I am hoping it won't pass me by

And when I feel like there is no one that will ever know me
There you are to show me

Cause when I look to the sky something tells me you're here with me
And you make everything alright
And when I feel like I'm lost something tells me you're here with me
And I can always find my way when you are here
