Schoooooooool ; 3:47 PM

Embarassed as I am, I am proud to say I just finished Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix (Did you notice the oxymoron? (;)! I dare say it is the thickest book I've read (all 956 pages!) and I read it in less than 48 hours! Including sleeping and meals and tele time of course! Not bad, eh? I decided I should start warming up my mind a bit before school starts, though I'm not sure if reading Harry Potter counts as "warming up". But still, at least it's moving!

This week has been jammed packed with activities and I was just looking at my calendar and I realised I have about 3 more weeks before school begins! Just thinkning of it gives me jitters! I'm pretty nervous actually, considering it's been quite a while since I've sat through lectures and sat for tests! University will never be like JC, where we get spoonfed and chased to do our homework. It's the grownup world now, where we decide our own priorities. We decide whether we want to skip classes, not do homework etc, and no one will frankly bother! It's a bit scary don't you think? Requires so much self-discipline! Boy, I sure hope I'll be up for the challenge. To tell you the truth, I'm not sure if I'm fully ready to handle it but there's no backing down now! Just got to hope for the best.

Life sure has a way of just flying by, doesn't it? I mean, the next thing I know, three years would have flown by and (hopefully) I'd have graduated (well) and I'll be looking for a job! Then it's the real world and I'd be working for, forever (at least it'll seem like it, with the government constantly uping the retirement age).

For now, I'll be looking forward to the holidays next year. It'll be the last real holidays I guess. Better start planning what to do then because I sure have a lot of things I want to do, before I lose my head in the real world!
