I haven't blogged in quite a while but if you want more frequent updates, read my tumblr, even though it has probably nothing to do with my everyday life, it has everything to do with it.

Anyways, school's starting in a weeks time and I'm not particularly looking forward to it. I'm not enthusiastically pumping my fist in the air for the obscenely high amounts of stress, homework, projects, presentations, revisions and studying. Nor al I looking forward to the ridiculous two hour journey to the west. Probably the only thing I'm looking forward to is the vegeterian beehoon an Canteen B and the food from Canteen 4! I guess it sucks not having a hall to stay in anymore. I'll sure miss the bridge every night, the 10 min walk to school, and the room mate to talk to!

Anyways, I went on a shopping spree last week! Fine, I do spree alot, even from the comforts of my room but this time I met up with the old friends from secondary school and we walked around orchard, stimulating the economy. Got myself really really nice stuff, like the black sandals to replace the pair of black slippers which recently gave way at NTUC, quite a bit of paper stuff (which I'm always happy to spend on, and I went rather crazy over at Daiso! Come on, $2 only!!!) and 2 new books! Picture below! (Haha, and yes, that is a bottle of nail polish you see!)

I think I should get started on some reading to get my mind moving again. At least grease it a little before the engine has to go full throttle. I'm in the middle of 2 books now, The Alchemist and Jane Eyre. Jane Eyre requires a lot of patience because if the language and fancy literary style. I would like to fully understand the book on my first read because frankly, I don't think I'll bother to read the book again if I don't understand it (as in the case of The Great Gatsby). The Alchemist garnered such good life-changing reviews so I took my dad's copy! And adding in the 3 new books I got over this holiday, I now have 5 books to read! I'll probably read them on the way home from school if I don't have school notes to read!

And I got me a little welcome back to school present! Figured I could use it to decorate and spice up my boring notes, so I'll be less irritated when I have to read them! HAHA! Or maybe I'm just finding an excuse to buy it! Nevertheless, I think it'll be nice to have! Sorry if the picture is too small!

Anyways, been catching up on some music lately and I'm totally loving Train's entire discography, Pat Monahan's (from Train) solo album, Joshua Radin, Joe Purdy and some of Dashboard Confessional's less emo songs! And I just got some Jack Johnson (okay not some, all) and The Killers songs! And can I say, I'm really loving Jason Mraz's Beautiful Mess. It's going into my list of favourite songs!! And MGMT, what can I say about them, totally grooving to Electric Feel and Time to Pretend! And watching their videos on youtube, haha, Andrew looks (to me) like Chace Crawford so I'm always happy when I watch their vids!

And if you've been catching up with me, you'll know the obscene amount of money I spent of nail polish in the last month! $114.70 on 12 bottles of polish to be exact! 4 OPI, 2 China Glaze, 2 Orly, 1 Essie, 1 Poshe Base and Top Coat and 1 bottle of the prettiest pinkish peach coloured polish from Natures Republic! Most of the colours were teal, turquoise, and blue. I need colour therapy soon!

Oh, and since I've finished The Big Bang Theory, How I Met Your Mother, Supernatural, Glee and Avatar: The Last Airbender, (and Grey's Anatomy gets a little too draggy for me sometimes) I'm watching Two and a Half Men now! It's really funny! Of course larh, what did you expect from Chuck Lorre! He created The Big Bang Theory too fyi so if you liked TBBT, you'll probably love Two and a Half Men! And I caught a couple of eps of Cougartown on tv the other day, it was pretty good so I'll probably watch it too!

So tempted to post a picture of my swollen eye/sty but I shall not gross you out. Let's just say my eyelid is probably the size of Angelina Jolie's lips! I can't even open my eye properly. Fudge.

Went to 2 doctors today. First to the old man at Bedok North to fix my wrist. It was on its way to recovery when I itchy itchy, squeezed eye drops into my eye. The bottle was fudging hard to squeeze and only one miserable drop came out. So it hand became much more painful, the worst it has been in 3 weeks. Speaking of 3 weeks, I got a scolding from the doctor for waiting so long to see him. He said my wrist could have been fixed in 2 sessions but now. Hurhur. I hope it can be fixed before school starts!

Then on to visit Ivan Tan for my eye/sty. Ivan looks VERY different now. He dresses much more metrosexually now. Trying to impress his array of female skin patients maybe. Attack them while their skin is bad and morale is low! Tsktsk. But I must say, he wasn't as sarcastic with me today, so I had no joy out of the visit. I prepared so many rebuttals and nonsense answers just for him! :(

I just commented on a TVD tunic/kaftan. I hope I get it. I shall think of how to deal with my mother when it comes! HAHA! My bonito stuff should be coming in a few weeksssss!

Okay, going to sleep soon. Must wake up to eat breakfast tmr. To eat my medicine. HOHO, Dad's vanilla almond cereal is yums to the max. I'm gonna ninja more tomorrow morning!!! And btw, brushing my teeth with my left hand was tough shit. I felt like giving up and just gargling listerine! BUT I DIDN'T OKAY. I BRUSHED MY TEETH!
