Made a little trip down to Tampines today to get a pair of black pants for my presentation (because Sze Xia insists on wearing black pants and it made me feel self-conscious about wearing a skirt). Ended up buying two pairs because one fitted nicer and the other one matched my blazer better. I shall vow not to gain anymore weight, if not I won't be able to wear my new pants. On a totally unrelated note, kudos to G2000 for playing good music! They were playing Jack Johnson almost the entire time I was there and I was so calm while trying on 6 different pairs of pants and trying to figure out which ones were better!
But besides the pants, it dawned upon me that Tampines is fast replacing Orchard in my heart. Let's discount the fact that Tampines doesn't have a Chanel (but there's a cosmetic counter at Isetan!), Tiffany, Loewe, etc outlets, simply because I cannot afford to shop at those stores
